2025 Ace Award Trophies

For the Advertising Club of Edmonton’s 2025 Ace Awards, we designed and handcrafted a custom series of trophies that aimed to feel more like contemporary objects than traditional awards. Each piece was individually fabricated in-studio, with a focus on material honesty, sculptural form, and tactile finish. The typographic design of the trophies carried gravity through shape, giving the letterforms a physical weight and presence that anchored each piece. The goal was to create an award that carried a sense of permanence and presence, something recipients would want to live with beyond the night of the event. The final pieces balanced industrial precision with handmade character, giving every trophy subtle uniqueness while remaining cohesive as a complete collection. From concept development through fabrication and finishing, the entire series was produced by hand in our studio.
